User Forum 2008
13th to 15th May 2008 at EURO ID 2008

Dear Exhibitor,

EURO ID 2008 will again play host to a User Forum, where exhibitors at the trade fair will have an opportunity to deliver, at no charge, a 20-minute presentation followed by a discussion session (approx. 10 min).

The following times are available on all three show days:

• 10.30-10.50 hrs
• 11.00-11.20 hrs
• 12.00-12.20 hrs
• 12.30-12.50 hrs
• 14.30-14.50 hrs
• 15.00-15.20 hrs
• 15.30-15.50 hrs
• 16.30-16.50 hrs

The following criteria will be used for the submission and evaluation of presentations for 2008:

• Only main exhibitors (at least 12 square metres of exhibition space) can apply
• Companies booking large stands will take precedence over smaller exhibitors
• Preference will be given to best practices and examples of application by the user
• Promotional and marketing presentations will not be accepted
• The deadline for the submission of presentations is 29 th February.2008
• Places will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.

The following information must be provided along with each application:

• Title of the presentation
• Name of speaker, position held and contact details
• A minimum of three sub-points that sum-up the essential content of the presentation

Main themes:
This year an independent panel will classify the submissions into main theme groups so that the form and content of the User Forum can be properly structured. The key themes are as follows (subject to alteration if necessary):

• Innovation (technologies, projects, processes, etc.)
• Concrete projects geared to end-users in all branches
• New solutions for system integration
• Market development (new markets and trends)

Selection process:
The independent panel will be responsible for selecting the presentations, allocating the time-slots and arranging the theme groupings.
